The basics you should know
Traveling to a new place with people you may not know always comes with new experiences. To help you find your footing and make sure nothing disturbs your peace of mind, we’ve put together a set of key details. Here’s what you should know about this year’s Futerkon:
RULES
Taking part in Futerkon means accepting the event rules. By attending, you automatically agree to follow them. If you have any questions, please contact us by email at: organizator@futerkon.pl
PAYMENTS
To attend the convention, you need to pay both the participation fee and the accommodation and catering fee. This year, all payments are made online directly to the Futerkon account.
EXTRA BEDS
In the “Room List” section, you’ll find spots marked as “Extra Bed.” Each of these represents an additional place in a room. In shared rooms, approval from all current occupants is required. To unlock this option, please contact @Walarro.
PETS
Your four-legged friends are welcome at Futerkon too! Please make sure to indicate this in the registration form. Keep in mind that the hotel charges an additional fee for pets.
TRANSPORT
If you’re looking for a way to get there, our website includes the MeowMeowCar system. It helps coordinate travel with other attendees who have their own vehicles and are coming from your area.
RECEPTION
At reception, you’ll receive not only your welcome package – which includes a T-shirt, conbook, badge, lanyard, and more – but also your room key card. During your stay, the hotel reception can also help with things like borrowing a towel or bathrobe, or arranging cleaning service. If anything comes up, they can help with room cards or take care of a broken bottle situation.
CATERING
During the convention, full board is provided, including breakfast, lunch, and evening BBQs – all included in the price of attendance. Meals are prepared by the head chef. We’ve tried them, and they’re great. If you’re still hungry, you can also visit the nearby Karczma Ułańska at your own expense.
SHOPS
The nearest shop is about 3 kilometers away in Rasławice. A little farther out, in Biała Rawska, you’ll find Biedronka, Odido, and smaller local stores. There is also a bar on site, as well as Karczma Ułańska, so your most urgent needs should be covered.
CKS OSSA
All amenities at the resort are available to you without limits. You can enjoy specially prepared furry-themed drinks at the bar, relax in the jacuzzi, use the sauna and swimming pool, or stretch your paws out on a deck chair by the pond. Just one thing – admire the pond, don’t swim in it.
PAID PROGRAM ITEMS
Some parts of the program may require advance sign-up or an additional fee. Full details will be available on the “Program” subpage once the schedule is finalized.
HELP DURING THE CONVENTION
If you need help, don’t hesitate to contact the organizers. They’re easy to spot thanks to their red badges and the tired look on their faces. For hotel-related matters, check with reception first – they’re the real experts.
